Wide printed rolls are slit to the ordered width on precision equipment. Blade setting and web guidance keep width tolerance tight and edges smooth, with no burrs that would snag on automatic hose-laminating or layline applicators. Finished slit rolls are sized to run on high-precision laminating lines without extra trimming at the hose plant.
